Harry Kane to leave Spurs?

Harry Kane is, of course, one of the best centre-forwards currently plying their trade in Europe’s top-five leagues.

The Spurs youth product has been a consistent threat in the Premier League for many years now.

And even though Tottenham are having a pretty dismal season on the whole, Kane has continued to shine. In 31 Premier League outings, he has managed to score 21 goals, to go along with 13 assists.

But with the Lilywhites failing pretty miserably to match Kane’s level, it hasn’t come as too much of a surprise to see him linked with an exit from the north London outfit.

It was reported in March that Kane would like to leave Spurs.

Kane will not be sold

After the capital outfit failed to beat Manchester City in the League Cup final, meanwhile, 2020/21 officially became the latest season in which Kane did not manage to win a trophy.

This, coupled with Spurs’ decline as a squad, may have had some fans of the Lilywhites concerned that their star striker would be on the move this summer.

However, a report from the Evening Standard has moved to quash such fears, with it claimed that Spurs will not entertain any offers for Kane.

The 27-year-old himself, meanwhile, has spoken publicly to assure that he still has plenty of time to win trophies:

“I’ve done so many things in the game but there are still so many things in my head that I want to achieve.

“I spoke openly about (winning silverware). That’s the reason why I play the game, that’s why I became a footballer – to win and have those experiences with my team-mates, lifting trophies and winning the biggest games.

“It hasn’t happened so far but I feel I’ve got plenty of time in my locker. I’m just looking forward and I’m sure they will come.”
